中道リース announced that it had revised its first-half ordinary profit forecast upward by 53.7%, from the previous forecast of ¥750 million to ¥1.15 billion. The full-year forecast remains unchanged at ¥1.3 billion. The company cited an increase in new orders, growth in installment sales, and higher non-operating income resulting from increased gains on investments in anonymous partnerships.
中道リース announced an earnings forecast revision during the afternoon trading session on 7 August. Ordinary profit on a non-consolidated basis for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026 (January-June) was revised upward from the previous forecast of ¥750 million to ¥1.15 billion, compared with ¥1.39 billion in the same period of the previous year.
As a result of the revision, first-half ordinary profit is expected to be revised upward by 53.7%, with the decline rate changing from 46.4% to 17.5%. The full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged at the previous forecast of ¥1.3 billion.
The company said the revision reflected new orders of ¥21,416 million in the second quarter, up 16.4% year on year, as well as higher installment sales and increased non-operating income resulting from higher gains on investments in anonymous partnerships. The company said uncertainty remained regarding future environmental factors and that there would be no change to its full-year forecast.
