金下建設 announced on 7 August that it had revised upward its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026, substantially raising its ordinary profit forecast and indicating an expected increase of approximately 54%. It also reported that cumulative results for the second quarter had turned profitable.
金下建設 announced its earnings and revised its full-year consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 upward from the previous forecast of ¥320 million to ¥510 million. As a result, profit for the period is now expected to increase by approximately 59.4% from the previous fiscal year.
Cumulative consolidated ordinary profit for the second quarter (January-June) was ¥424 million, approximately 2.8 times the year-earlier level. Although net sales were not disclosed, operating profit also turned profitable as results improved. In the first-half results, ordinary profit turned profitable in the most recent three-month period, and the operating profit margin improved to 0.5%.
The company’s estimates for the second-half outlook indicate that ordinary profit for the July-December period will decline significantly year on year. The company cited improved construction profitability and an increase in dividend income received, among other factors, as reasons for revising its full-year plan.
