Toyota North America formally announced the 2027 model of the three-row Grand Highlander full-size SUV. The vehicle is produced at the Princeton plant in Indiana, U.S., and is scheduled to be introduced at U.S. dealerships in stages from the second half of 2026. The gasoline LE base grade starts at $42,560, while the LE hybrid starts at $45,910.
The biggest highlight of the 2027 model is the addition of the new Woodland Edition. It combines a hybrid powertrain with AWD and uses dedicated springs and all-terrain tires to improve off-road capability, while ground clearance is approximately 0.5 inches higher than on the standard model. Exterior features include matte-black 18-inch alloy wheels and black finishes in various areas, while the interior includes outdoor-oriented equipment such as a removable cooler box, luggage tray and AC power outlet.
Existing grades have also been improved alongside the introduction of the Woodland Edition. The Hybrid MAX Platinum has black finishes on the front grille and roof rails, while 18-inch dark-gray wheels are now standard on the XLE. The 2027 model also discontinues the Hybrid Nightshade and Hybrid MAX Limited, streamlining the grade lineup.
