千趣会 announced that its net income for the cumulative third quarter of the current fiscal year had fallen into the red. It revised its full-year forecast downward to a loss and indicated that it would continue paying no dividend, although the year-end dividend had previously been undecided.
千趣会 announced its results after the market close on 30 October, reporting a consolidated net loss of ¥840 million for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026. For the second-half outlook, consolidated net income for July to December was revised downward from the previous forecast of a ¥110 million loss to a ¥610 million loss. The year-ago period had produced net income of ¥5.86 billion, but the loss is now expected to widen. The company explained that although revenue and the operating profit margin may improve, the size of the loss is expected to increase.
The year-end lump-sum dividend had previously been left undecided, but the company ultimately indicated that it would forgo the dividend and continue paying no dividend. In the latest three-month period, consolidated third-quarter net income swung to a ¥950 million loss, a sharp deterioration from net income of ¥5.78 billion in the year-ago period, while the operating profit margin improved from -14.3% to -10.8%.
