Kyoei Security Service has revised its consolidated net income forecast for the current fiscal year downward, from the previous forecast of a profit to a loss. The company now expects a loss, partly due to the recognition of share-based compensation expenses.
In the earnings revision released after the close of trading on 22 October, consolidated net income for the current fiscal year (the fiscal year ending July 2027) was revised downward from the previous forecast of a ¥700 million profit to a ¥600 million loss. Revenue is forecast at ¥1.3 trillion, while operating profit and ordinary profit are each forecast at ¥1 billion. Net income was revised to a loss of -¥6 billion, and earnings per share to -¥403.2.
No earnings forecast for the first half has been disclosed, and year-on-year comparisons are not provided because the change in the fiscal year-end resulted in a 16-month accounting period.
