一正蒲鉾 maintains a leading domestic market share in processed seafood products, centered on its core crab-flavored kamaboko. Although revenue increased in the fiscal year ending June 2026, profit fell sharply due to higher raw material prices and personnel expenses. 一正蒲鉾 expects higher revenue and profit in the fiscal year ending June 2027 and will make a full-scale transition to its Third Medium-Term Plan, the “ICHIMASA30 Vision.”
一正蒲鉾 is a food manufacturer that produces and sells mainly processed seafood products, with crab-flavored kamaboko as its core product. It holds the No. 2 domestic market share and also produces and sells maitake mushrooms, continuing to develop products from the consumer’s perspective.
In the fiscal year ended June 2026, consolidated revenue was ¥35,542 million, up 2.8% year on year, while operating profit was ¥611 million, ordinary profit was ¥529 million, and profit attributable to owners of the parent was ¥326 million, representing substantial declines in profit. The company was unable to fully absorb higher raw material prices and personnel expenses, and its gross profit margin also declined from the previous fiscal year.
For the fiscal year ending June 2027, 一正蒲鉾 expects revenue of ¥38,600 million, operating profit of ¥800 million, ordinary profit of ¥800 million, and net profit of ¥480 million, representing higher profit. Expanded sales of core products, price revisions, and the mushroom business moving into profitability are expected to contribute, while higher raw material prices and increases in packaging material and energy costs are expected to limit the profit increase.
The company announced its Third Medium-Term Management Plan, positioning fiscal 2026 through fiscal 2029 as Phase 1, the “three years of building a foundation for growth.” Its targets for the fiscal year ending June 2031 are revenue of ¥45.0 billion, operating profit of ¥2.0 billion, ROE of 8%, and ROIC of 6%, while it aims to generate cumulative operating cash flow of ¥15.2 billion over the five-year period.
