ギックス achieved revenue of ¥2,765 million, core operating profit of ¥92 million and operating profit of ¥25 million for the fiscal year ending June 2026, returning both profit measures to positive territory. The results of its earnings structure reform became apparent, and the progress in transforming the business structure was recognized alongside higher revenue and a return to profitability.
ギックス's consolidated results for the fiscal year ending June 2026 were revenue of ¥2,765 million, up 15.3% year on year, core operating profit that improved by ¥167 million and returned to positive territory, and operating profit of ¥25 million, compared with a loss in the previous fiscal year. Having achieved its long-standing priority of returning core operating profit to profitability, the company secured operating profitability after absorbing goodwill amortization and M&A-related expenses.
Compared with the revised forecast issued at the beginning of the fiscal year, revenue came in within the projected range, while core operating profit exceeded expectations and was near the upper end of the range. The start of large-scale projects was pushed back, and the company fell short of its initial targets of revenue of ¥3,500–4,000 million and core operating profit of ¥240 million.
The transformation of the earnings structure reflects progress toward sustained growth accompanied by profit. The company is advancing project-level earnings management and optimization of fixed costs and external resources, while also addressing productivity issues on a quarterly basis.
