ヒラノテクシード revised its current-year consolidated ordinary profit forecast upward after the market close on 6 November, from the previous forecast of ¥1.6 billion to ¥3.7 billion, indicating profit growth of approximately 2.2 times the ¥1.7 billion recorded in the previous fiscal year.
ヒラノテクシード announced on 6 November, after the market close, that it had revised its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the full year upward, from the previous forecast of ¥1.6 billion to ¥3.7 billion. The outlook for current-year profit growth is consequently expected to expand to approximately 2.2 times.
Ordinary profit for the second quarter (first half) was also revised sharply upward, from the previous forecast of ¥900 million to ¥2.51 billion, and is expected to exceed the ¥1.27 billion recorded in the same period of the previous year by a wide margin.
The company cited as factors behind the revision higher additional costs and miscellaneous expenses resulting from specification changes to orders already received in EV-related fields, as well as the contribution to earnings from bringing forward the review of order values.
Looking ahead, the company commented that it will continue negotiating revisions to contract terms with multiple customers in the second half and expects these efforts to improve earnings.
