宮地エンジニアリンググループ raised its first-half ordinary profit forecast from the previous ¥630 million to ¥1.56 billion, or 2.5 times the previous forecast. The full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged.
宮地エンジニアリンググループ has substantially raised its forecast for consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter (April to September) of the fiscal year ending March 2027, from the previous forecast of ¥630 million to ¥1.56 billion. Ordinary profit was ¥2.99 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year, and the upward revision is expected to narrow the decline. The full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged at the previous forecast of ¥2.4 billion.
The main reasons for the revision were the generally steady progress of projects under construction, as well as the finalization during the first half of the estimated amount attributable to design changes for projects scheduled for completion in the second half, which had been assumed at the beginning of the fiscal year. As a result, operating profit, ordinary profit and interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent are all expected to exceed the previous forecasts.
The full-year forecast remains unchanged based on additional information available at the time of the market announcement. The reasons for the revision and the outlook ahead stated in the earnings summary have been released. Further updates to the release date and additional financial information will be provided when the earnings-related materials are published.
