Qol Holdings Co.,Ltd. announced that it will acquire shares in Medicamente, a dispensing pharmacy company in Miyagi Prefecture, and MY, a dispensing pharmacy company in Yamagata Prefecture. The share transfer is scheduled to take place on 22 October.
On the 30th, Qol Holdings Co.,Ltd. announced that it will acquire shares in Medicamente, headquartered in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, and MY, headquartered in Sendai. The Group's pharmacy business, its core business, operates approximately 950 stores nationwide and is promoting community-based family pharmacies.
Medicamente operates 15 dispensing pharmacies, mainly in Miyagi Prefecture, while MY operates 2 dispensing pharmacies in Yamagata Prefecture. Both companies are actively opening and supporting stores to help maintain regional healthcare. The acquisition is viewed as enhancing the two companies' contribution to regional and home healthcare through their integration into the Group.
Going forward, the Qol Group will continue to pursue community-based family pharmacies and seek to enhance corporate value by leveraging the Group's resources. The share transfer is scheduled to take place on 22 October.
