エスビー食品 announced that it will sponsor the Shimokitazawa Curry Festival 2026. This year, a total of 135 establishments, including those serving curry, will participate. The event will run for 18 days from 8 to 25 October 2026, with restaurants and other venues in and around the Shimokitazawa area serving as event locations.
The event's main theme is a collaboration with SEGA's popular games “Puyo Puyo” and “Sonic,” bringing participating establishments together to promote Shimokitazawa as a “town of curry.” The participating establishments comprise 110 curry restaurants, 21 sweets shops and 4 vintage clothing and other shops, for a total of 135.
Collaborative menus and prizes will also be offered. Asian Curry Kenkendo will serve a limited-edition menu item, “Shimokita Halloween Curry Pilaf,” made with エスビー食品 curry powder sticks, priced at ¥1,800 including tax.
A stamp rally will be held during the event. Participating establishments will offer エスビー食品's S&B Red Can Curry Powder Roux, Medium Hot, and 2 stamps can be exchanged for a prize, while supplies last, with 3,000 prizes available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The official map and website advertisements will also be published, and commercials are scheduled to be shown on monitors at Shimokita Ekiue.
