Japan Tissue Engineering and Takeshima Aquarium in Gamagori will hold their first joint exhibition, “Are You Okay, Fish Hook Stuck in You?”, at Takeshima Aquarium in Gamagori from 10 October to 8 November 2026.
The new exhibition, themed around regenerative medicine and living organisms, aims to revitalise the local community through collaboration between companies based in Gamagori.
The venue is Takeshima Aquarium in Gamagori. The exhibition is titled “Are You Okay, Fish Hook Stuck in You?” and runs from 10 October to 8 November 2026.
The exhibition will include displays of regenerating organisms and a stamp rally, explanations of wound-healing mechanisms, an introduction to regenerative medicine, and introductions to the aquarium and the company. As a special programme, workshops on observing and cutting planarians are scheduled for 24 and 25 October.
The exhibition will be guided by an original character, with manga artist Ohashi Hiroyuki (大橋裕之), who is from Gamagori, serving as the creative guide.
