Gamagori regenerative medicine company J-TEC and Takeshima Aquarium are holding their first joint special exhibition, "Is That Embedded Fishhook Okay? Exhibition". Running through 8 November under the shared theme of regeneration and living organisms, it will display seven types of regenerative organisms and regenerative medicine-related products.
Japan Tissue Engineering (J-TEC), a regenerative medicine company in Gamagori, and Takeshima Aquarium opened their first joint special exhibition on the 10th. The exhibition runs through 8 November and aims to revitalize the local area through collaboration between local companies.
The displays introduce seven types of organisms capable of regeneration and regenerative medicine products involving J-TEC. Newly drawn panels by a manga artist have also been installed nearby, along with exhibits explaining how regenerative medicine works and a stamp rally.
The special event "Cutting★Observation Session: The Mysterious Planarian" will be held on the 24th and 25th. There will be 4 sessions, at 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., with a capacity of 8 people per session. In the event of rain, the event will be postponed.
President Kazuto Yamada said he hoped visitors would observe the differences between living organisms and people through the exhibition and deepen their interest in regenerative medicine. Director Ryūji Kobayashi said the event had provided an opportunity to showcase the appeal of Gamagori's local companies.
