三陽商会 announced that it will relocate its domestic company-owned factory, 「サンヨーソーイング 青森ファクトリー」, from Shichinohe Town to Towada City and build a new facility. Construction is scheduled to begin in or after 2027, with completion and the start of operations planned for the first half of 2028.
三陽商会 formally announced that it will relocate its Aomori Factory to Higashi-21-bantyo, Towada City, and build a new factory dedicated to coat production. The new facility is intended to improve production efficiency, secure and develop human resources, and promote the transfer of technical expertise.
The Aomori Factory has operated in Shichinohe Town since 1975. It has served as a base for coat sewing and finishing, as well as the development and technical verification of new products.
The planned site for the new factory is in Higashi-21-bantyo, Towada City. The land area is 11,411 square meters, larger than that of the current factory. The company is currently considering the construction plan and equipment specifications. Through the relocation, it aims to strengthen its production structure, secure and develop human resources, and pass on the coat production technologies cultivated over many years.
三陽商会 explained that it decided to relocate and build the factory as part of its growth investment under its 2026 medium-term management plan. Construction is scheduled to begin in or after 2027, with completion and the start of operations planned for the first half of 2028.
