三陽商会 has decided to relocate and construct a new company-owned factory in Towada. The new factory is scheduled to begin operations in the first half of fiscal 2028, with the aim of enhancing its coat-specialist product development capabilities and productivity.
三陽商会 announced that it has decided to relocate and construct a new facility for its company-owned factory, 「サンヨーソーイング 青森ファクトリー」, in Towada. The new factory is scheduled to begin operations in the first half of fiscal 2028, as part of the company's growth investment, with the aim of enhancing product development capabilities and production efficiency.
「サンヨーソーイング 青森ファクトリー」 is a company-owned factory specializing in coats that was established in 1969. Over the years, it has accumulated sewing and finishing expertise that produces a beautiful silhouette with minimal distortion from the shoulders to the hem. In recent years, the factory has also worked to strengthen its R&D capabilities, including by bringing down-coat production in-house and developing new items.
The new factory will be relocated to Towada, where the company plans to provide employees with a safe and comfortable working environment and strengthen recruitment and training. Through these efforts, it aims to pass its accumulated expertise on to the next generation, while enhancing its coat-product development capabilities and the stability of domestic production.
The existing Aomori Factory operates primarily in coat production and has a history spanning more than 57 years since its establishment in 1969. 三陽商会 plans to continue strengthening its product development capabilities and high-quality manufacturing, centered on its company-owned factories in Japan. Details of the relocation plan and equipment are scheduled to be announced at a later date.
