Casio Computer announced that it will launch the new GMC-2500/GAC-2500 shock-resistant G-SHOCK watches on 7 November. According to Nikkei reports, Casio Computer plans to launch the new GMC-2500/GAC-2500 shock-resistant G-SHOCK watches on 7 November. The lineup comprises 9 models, priced from around ¥20,900 to ¥49,500, including tax.
The new models retain the square form of the original G-SHOCK, while adopting a more rounded exterior design. The opening in the dial at 3 o’clock features the new Multi Mission Date function, which displays the date, elapsed time measured by the stopwatch and various setting information.
Despite being fully analog, the watches feature a full auto-calendar, eliminating the need to manually adjust the date according to the calendar. The seconds hand at 9 o’clock also features a seconds-hand sleep function. Stopping the hand as desired reduces power consumption and extends battery life.
Prices range from ¥20,900 to ¥49,500, including tax, with a lineup of 9 models including the GMC-2500.
