Nankai Tatsumura Construction revised its consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 (April to September) upward by 37.5%, changing it from the previous forecast of ¥830 million to ¥1.14 billion. Ordinary profit in the same period of the previous year was ¥1.14 billion.
Following the revision, the full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged from the previous forecast of ¥2.41 billion. The company had expected revenue and profit to fall below its previous forecasts due to delays in the progress of certain construction projects and other factors. However, supported by improvements in the profitability of orders on hand, operating profit, ordinary profit and interim net profit are now expected to exceed the previous forecasts.
The uncertain business environment, including future order trends, surging materials prices and higher labour rates, remains a point requiring attention. The company’s progress for the current fiscal year and its interim results will continue to require close monitoring.
