PCIソリューションズ (3918) revised its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the cumulative second quarter of the first half downward from the previous forecast of ¥740 million to ¥480 million in its earnings速報 for the TSE Standard Market. Ordinary profit was ¥790 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year, so the decline in first-half profit is expected to widen.

According to the company, in the engineering business, existing projects were reduced or ended following reviews of automotive-related development plans, resulting in delays in the timing of revenue recognition. In addition, in the product/device business, surging prices for semiconductors and other materials, together with procurement difficulties, put pressure on gross profit.
In the second half, the company plans to reallocate development resources in line with the reduction of automotive-related projects and shift demand toward growth areas. It also expects a recovery in performance through company-wide implementation of cost-control measures, including price revisions.
