新家工業 announced an earnings revision after market close on 28 October, raising its forecast for consolidated ordinary profit for the six months ending September 2026, the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2027, from ¥1.1 billion to ¥1.5 billion and indicating that profit is expected to increase year on year. As a result, the expected profit growth rate is projected to exceed the previous forecast.
According to the materials released on the same day, the revised forecasts for the first half of the current fiscal year are net sales of ¥20 billion, operating profit of ¥1.4 billion, ordinary profit of ¥1.5 billion, net income of ¥1 billion and earnings per share of ¥104.87.
The full-year ordinary profit forecast is expected to remain unchanged at the previous forecast of ¥2.5 billion. There has been no revision from the initial plan, and the full-year outlook remains unchanged. The accompanying note also states that the forecasts may be revised again depending on future progress.
The company explained that operating profit, ordinary profit and interim net income attributable to owners of the parent are expected to exceed the initial forecasts because it secured sales volumes in the steel tube-related segment while working to optimise prices and improve costs.
