Honda announced a minor model change for the Vezel. The update features a more refined exterior and improved rear-seat comfort, with new equipment including rear ventilation and USB chargers for the rear seats. Prices have been set by grade, and the vehicle is scheduled to go on sale on 23 October.
The new Vezel was announced on 22 October as a minor model change. It features a more urban design and expanded comfort equipment, and will go on sale the following day, 23 October.
On the exterior, black inner lenses have been adopted for the headlights across all grades, giving the front a more defined appearance. On the e:HEV Z series and PLaY package, the wheel-arch surrounds and bumper garnishes are finished in the same colour as the body. Higher grades also receive improvements in perceived quality, including 18-inch aluminium wheels.
New features include rear ventilation and USB chargers for the rear seats on the G and e:HEV X, while the e:HEV X also adopts heated seats for the driver and front passenger. The grade lineup consists of the e:HEV X, e:HEV Z, e:HEV Z PLaY and G, with all configurations seating 5 people.
Prices by grade are ¥2,777,500 for the G 4WD, ¥3,039,300 for the e:HEV X FF, ¥3,259,300 for the e:HEV X 4WD, ¥3,287,900 for the e:HEV Z FF, ¥3,507,900 for the e:HEV Z 4WD, ¥3,665,200 for the e:HEV Z PLaY FF and ¥3,885,200 for the same grade with 4WD.
The Vezel is compared with competitors in the same market, including the Yaris Cross and Corolla Cross, and claims advantages in rear-seat space, ease of handling in urban areas and the breadth of its equipment.
The minor model change is characterised by combining improved cabin space through the centre-tank layout with a more refined urban design.
