2nd RETAILING Co.,Ltd. confirmed unauthorized access to its internal systems on 15 October. In response, to prevent further damage, it suspended apps and web services including 2nd STREET and GEO from 21:00 on 17 October and began system maintenance.
In its second report on 19 October, the company stated that there was no evidence of suspicious external connections to or direct access to its database servers, and that no external leakage of personal or confidential information had been confirmed.
The suspended apps and web services include those of 2nd STREET, GEO, GEO Mobile and others. Store hours have not changed, and the suspension remains in effect.
