EIZO will launch the ColorEdge CG3200X on 1 December. The 31.5-inch color-managed OLED monitor features proprietary control for stable HDR display, and is reported to have open pricing.
EIZO has announced the “CG3200X,” the first color-managed OLED monitor in its ColorEdge series. The 31.5-inch monitor has 4K UHD resolution and uses a QD-OLED panel to support HDR display. It delivers peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m², 300 cd/m² for full-screen white, and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1.
The monitor features a newly developed display-control ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter), which suppresses the brightness reduction associated with conventional ABL control and provides a stable display environment when evaluating HDR video. Users can select between 2 ABL modes, Highlight and Full Grayscale. Other display-control features include ABL Safe View, color-fringe reduction and contrast adjustment.
An internal calibration sensor provides continuous display correction and maintains measurement accuracy. USB Type-C consolidates 60W power delivery, video transmission and USB signal transmission into a single cable. The Sync Signal function automatically switches the color mode in response to signal metadata. Other features designed to improve usability include a frameless design, multiple input ports and an included light-shielding hood.
