EIZO announced that it would launch the 31.5-inch 4K colour management monitor ColorEdge CG3200X on 1 December, the first ColorEdge model to use a QD-OLED panel. New features include a wide colour gamut covering 99% of DCI-P3, high contrast and brightness, and ABL control.
EIZO announced the new ColorEdge CG3200X and will launch it on 1 December. The 31.5-inch monitor supports 4K UHD resolution and is the first in the series to use a QD-OLED panel.
It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, with contrast of up to approximately 1.5 million:1 and peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m2. Full-screen white brightness is 300 cd/m2. The panel uses a non-glare AGLR surface.
The newly developed ABL display control offers a choice between a highlight mode that suppresses bright areas and a mode that uniformly lowers brightness across all gradations. Automatic correction is also performed using the built-in calibration sensor.
Features include Sync Signal for automatic colour-mode switching, ABL Safe View, colour-fringe reduction and custom contrast settings. Connectivity comprises DisplayPort, HDMI and USB Type-C, with USB-C supporting 60W power delivery. The price is ¥495,000, including a light-shielding hood.
