At Apple's 10 September event, the standard iPhone 18 model was not announced, with only the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max shown. Meanwhile, the lineup included the iPhone 17e, iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, while AirPods 5, Apple Watch models and the foldable smartphone iPhone Duo were also announced.
At the event held late on 10 September Japan time, Apple did not announce a standard model for the new iPhone 18 series, instead focusing its presentation on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. No standard model was announced, and it has been reported that the conventional iPhone 18 was omitted from the lineup.
The presentation slides showed the iPhone 17e, iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, and it has been reported that sales of these models are expected to continue for the time being. As a result, the current-generation model lineup is expected to remain in place for a certain period.
In addition to the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, the new products announced were reported to include AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and the foldable smartphone iPhone Duo.
