ケーズHD revised its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the first half of fiscal 2026 upward from the previous forecast of ¥18.8 billion to ¥26.0 billion, an increase of 38%. The full-year forecast was maintained at ¥33.5 billion. The revision was reportedly driven by the impact of the end of Windows 10 support and energy-efficiency standards.
ケーズホールディングス announced a revision to its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the cumulative second quarter of fiscal 2026 (April-September), raising it from the previous forecast of ¥18.8 billion to ¥26.0 billion. The figure for the same period of the previous year was ¥14.5 billion, indicating a wider increase in profit.
The full-year consolidated ordinary profit forecast was maintained at the previous forecast of ¥33.5 billion. No further changes to the revised indicators for the current fiscal year have been announced.
The reasons for the revision included an expected increase in sales above the initial forecast and restrained growth in selling, general and administrative expenses. The company also explained that although sales of PCs increased ahead of the end of Windows 10 support and subsequently declined on a reactionary basis, concerns over price increases resulting from higher energy-efficiency standards in April 2027 were the main overall driver.
