Yamada Holdings raised its first-half consolidated ordinary profit forecast from the previous forecast of ¥28.4 billion to ¥30 billion after the market close on 27 October. The full-year forecast remains unchanged at the previous ¥52.6 billion.
Yamada Holdings announced a revision to its earnings forecast for the six months through September (the second quarter cumulative period). It raised its first-half consolidated ordinary profit forecast from the previous ¥28.4 billion to ¥30 billion, expanding the projected increase from ¥23.9 billion in the same period of the previous year.
The revised first-half figures are projected to include revenue of ¥88,000 million, operating profit of ¥28,600 million, ordinary profit of ¥30,000 million, net income of ¥21,500 million and earnings per share of ¥32.3.
The full-year earnings forecast remains unchanged at the previous ¥52.6 billion. Subsequent disclosure is expected in the earnings report scheduled for 6 November 2026.
The company cited increased air-conditioner demand following the raising of energy-efficiency standards, higher customer traffic and the entrenchment of the results of its “Kura-shimaru-goto” structural reform strategy as factors behind the revision.
