The judging panel highly praised the decision to use TikTok as a medium for reaching young people, the ability to continue posting daily, and the careful responses to concerns raised in the comments.
Bencom-san’s activities are intended to provide expert support for dangers threatening young people, including online defamation, misinformation and fraud. Under lawyers’ supervision, it follows ten principles of conduct stating that decisions are made by lawyers. Its distinguishing features are ensuring psychological safety while delivering accurate legal information.
