Bengo4.com will announce the 25 recipients of the Excellence Award in 5 categories and 1 recipient of the Judges' Special Award at the BUSINESS LAWYERS AWARD 2026. The Grand Prize and Grand Prix will be announced at the awards ceremony on 4 November.
The award recognises lawyers who drive change in business and society. A total of 626 people entered, and 25 Excellence Award recipients were selected across 5 categories. The judging process comprised open applications, candidate selection and a judging committee, with the awards ceremony to be held on 4 November 2026.
The recipients were divided into 5 categories: Governance Reform, Business and Human Rights, Pro Bono and Social Contribution, Public Policy, and Advanced Technology. 5 people in each category, 25 in total, were selected for the Excellence Award. At the awards ceremony, 1 Grand Prize winner and the Grand Prix winner will be selected from among the 25 recipients.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for 4 November 2026 (Wednesday), from 18:00 to 20:00, at the Rose Room on the 3rd floor of Tokyo Kaikan. Registration is open until 18:00 on 2 November, and an application page is available.
