For the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, rumored to be announced this fall, reports point to a September 2026 launch, with the Pro and Pro Max potentially priced around ¥50,000 above current models.
Taken together, reports from multiple sources indicate that the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro Max will launch sometime in the fall, with the Pro models increasingly expected to launch ahead of the rest of the iPhone 18 lineup. Compared with the current iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, the launch prices of the Pro models are expected to rise by approximately ¥40,000–¥50,000.
In terms of design, reports say Apple is considering a more cohesive color scheme between the rear glass and aluminum, along with a smaller Dynamic Island. The display sizes are expected to remain in the 6.27–6.86-inch range, while a high-efficiency display referred to as LTPO+ may be adopted. A deep red color is rumored as a new option, and the existing color lineup is also expected to be adjusted.
On the specifications front, the A20 Pro (2nm) is expected to deliver an approximately 18% performance improvement and around 30% greater power efficiency. The memory is expected to be 12GB, with storage likely to start at 256GB. A variable-aperture camera is rumored, and some reports suggest that the available camera features may differ between the Pro and Pro Max. The Pro Max is highly likely to have one of the largest batteries in the iPhone's history, with its actual capacity expected to exceed 5,000mAh.
