Phil Park Ichikawa has been completed in a prime location, a 4-minute walk from JR Ichikawa Station, creating a new hub of activity that makes use of the shopping district’s everyday pedestrian traffic. The building features a tenant mix across the 1st to 3rd floors and a full-glass facade, and was completed on 31 July 2026.
Phil Park Ichikawa is a commercial tenant building completed in the Nitta area of Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, a 4-minute walk from Ichikawa Station on the JR Sobu Line. The building was designed to connect with an alley along a route used for everyday activities. A hair salon and beauty salon occupy the 1st floor, while a Pilates studio is located on the 3rd floor. The building’s nighttime lighting and open design are intended to create new activity in the surrounding streetscape.
The site was originally acquired for apartment construction, but the project was developed as a commercial tenant building with the aim of creating a building that would be valued by the local community for many years. A full-glass facade draws the activity of the stores out toward the street. The frontage road is approximately 5m wide, and space for pedestrians to linger has been provided to improve safety and visibility.
