Amid continuing global inflation, Rengo decided to raise prices of paperboard and paper-converting products against a backdrop of higher interest rates and escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The price increases are scheduled to apply to deliveries from 1 January 2027, with the revised prices expected to be higher than current prices, according to reports.
Following the announcement, Rengo shares rose for a third straight day.
The products subject to the price increases are paperboard and paper-converting products. The company cited cost increases that have exceeded the level that can be absorbed through its own cost-cutting efforts.
