Toyota has unveiled the Woodland concept family in North America, presenting a total of 5 vehicles, including the RAV4 Woodland Plug-In Hybrid. The vehicles share an adventure-oriented design and equipment as a common identity.
On 30 October, Toyota's North American subsidiary announced the new Woodland concept family ahead of the SEMA Show. The lineup consists of 5 prototypes based on the RAV4, Grand Highlander, Sienna, bZ, and Crown Signia (Crown Estate).
The Woodland concept family is positioned around “adventure as a way of life,” with CALTY Design Research establishing an identity that combines everyday practicality with a spirit of exploration. All models feature a lift kit, large overfenders, satin-black wheels, all-terrain tires, and a roof rack with crossbars as shared equipment. The body color is “Horizon Blue,” derived from Toyota models of the 1960s.
The RAV4 Woodland Plug-In Hybrid Concept is positioned as a model symbolizing the off-road capability of Toyota's electrified family, aiming to balance everyday mobility with exploration on unpaved roads. Its design, including the wood exterior trim and functional elements, follows the shared identity, with the roof rack and large-scale equipment emphasized.
