Against a backdrop of increasing cyberattacks, 網屋 revised its consolidated full-year earnings forecast upward. With demand rising for security products and recovery support for affected companies, the company raised its revenue and operating profit forecasts, while the effect of making Ampere a subsidiary is also expected to contribute.
網屋 raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026, increasing revenue from ¥7,020 million to ¥7,850 million and operating profit from ¥1,200 million to ¥1,470 million. The new forecast was released after the close of trading.
The company said that, against a backdrop of increasing cyberattacks, it expects demand for security products and recovery support for affected companies to grow. Smooth performance in its data security and network security businesses was also cited as a contributing factor.
In addition, the consolidation of Ampere, which manufactures and sells computer application equipment and peripheral devices, is scheduled to become fully effective from the fourth quarter (October–December) following its acquisition as a subsidiary. The company expects this to increase revenue by approximately ¥428 million.
