CyberBuzz upwardly revised its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 from the previous forecast of ¥480 million to ¥640 million. The second-half ordinary profit outlook was also raised to ¥260 million, and full-year net profit is now expected to significantly exceed the previous forecast.
CyberBuzz announced an earnings forecast revision after the market close on 9 October, revising its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 from the previous forecast of ¥480 million to ¥640 million. The year-on-year profit growth rate is expected to expand significantly, adding further upside to the forecast for record-high profit.
The company cited the continued expansion of Japan's internet advertising market, ongoing double-digit annual sales growth in its core SMM business and live-streaming platform business, and the contribution from multiple additional orders and deliveries to revenue growth as reasons for the revision. It also explained that the benefits of using AI to improve operational efficiency and manage costs are expected to lift profit above the previous forecast.
For the outlook for the second half of the current fiscal year, the company raised its second-half ordinary profit forecast from the previous ¥100 million to ¥260 million and said it expects full-year adjusted operating profit of ¥792 million. As a result, second-half performance is also expected to improve, reflecting the revision to the overall earnings forecast.
The earnings presentation materials state that some expenses planned as strategic investments were deferred to the next fiscal year and beyond, while the increase in gross profit and the effects of expense reductions are expected to bring full-year profit above the previous forecast.
