Premium Group indicated for buying, and Dalton Investments reported a 5.05% stake. The holding ratio became known through the latest Large Shareholding Report, and the company is attracting market attention as a buyer.
Simplex Holdings raised its full-year operating profit forecast to ¥17.5 billion, up 21.4% year on year. The market consensus was ¥17.5 billion, while first-half operating profit rose 4.8% year on year to ¥7.40 billion. Although selling pressure may emerge after the announcement, the resilience of DX demand is being viewed favorably.
Socionext raised its full-year operating profit forecast to ¥15.50 billion, but this was below the consensus forecast of ¥18.57 billion. First-half operating profit was ¥1.67 billion, down 55.7% year on year, partly reflecting the impact of foreign exchange movements. The exchange-rate assumption for the second half is ¥130 to the US dollar.
Fukushima Bank raised its first-half net profit forecast for April-September from ¥300 million to ¥480 million. The bank expects fund investment income to exceed its initial forecast and left its full-year forecast unchanged.
Information Strategy Technology postponed its third-quarter earnings announcement to mid-December. The company said that additional investigations into suspected misconduct and consideration of the accounting treatment are under way, and that finalizing the earnings figures will take time. No material impact has been confirmed at this time.
