Secure SAMBA, a domestic business online storage service, has released a Drive App for Mac. It can be used directly from Finder, enabling users to manage files on Secure SAMBA through folder operations similar to those in Windows.
kubell Storage, the provider of Secure SAMBA, released a Drive App for Mac that can be used directly from the Mac Finder on 28 October 2026. The drive app, previously available for Windows, has now been extended to Mac, creating an environment where files can be managed like folders regardless of the operating system.
Key features of the Drive App for Mac include displaying a Secure SAMBA folder in Finder, automatically syncing saved content to the cloud, protecting files with a right-click, and checking login status via an icon.
When the same folder is shared by multiple people, updates made by other members are reflected immediately, keeping work up to date. Users can also share the situation with the support desk from the operation screen, with dedicated staff available to respond.
Secure SAMBA will continue to pursue intuitive operation and support efficiency improvements at small and medium-sized companies, with the aim of expanding adoption and improving the service’s convenience.
Through Secure SAMBA, kubell Storage aims to combine digital usability with security. The representative is Naka Tessei (中哲成), and the business involves the development and operation of online storage services.
