kubell Storage has released Secure SAMBA Drive App for Mac. Files can now be operated directly from Finder, with Mac support added after Windows support, and the app is provided to all active subscribers at no additional charge.
kubell Storage released the Drive App for Mac for “Secure SAMBA,” a domestic business online storage service, on 28 October 2026. Users can now open Secure SAMBA folders in the Mac Finder, edit and save files, and manage files without operating through a browser.
The Mac app was developed to eliminate usability inconveniences caused by differences between operating systems at companies using Macs in design and production departments and in workplaces where Windows and Mac devices are mixed. Saved content is automatically synced to the cloud, eliminating browser-based uploads.
Key features include folder display in Finder, protection against overwriting and deleting files, login-status confirmation, reflection of updates within the team, and the ability to share information and records with the support desk. The app is also emphasised as being available to all active subscribers at no additional charge.
Secure SAMBA has been adopted by more than 8,000 companies and has a retention rate of more than 98%, as well as features including integration with the business chat service Chatwork. kubell Storage was established in July 2021 as a wholly owned subsidiary of kubell, formerly a subsidiary of Chatwork. The company will continue to support file management and operational efficiency at small and medium-sized companies.
