Keiyo Engineering (KEIYO) will begin selling the AN-R138 smart-mirror dashcam, equipped with a 360° camera and parking surveillance system, on 15 October. It will be launched first at Autobacs stores nationwide.
KEIYO has begun selling the AN-R138, a 3-camera dashcam featuring a large 10.66-inch smart mirror with a built-in 360° camera and separate front and rear cameras. While retaining the functions of the previous model, it strengthens security by supporting a parking surveillance system.
The parking surveillance system detects impacts with a G-sensor when the engine is off and records incidents such as hit-and-run collisions and vehicle break-ins while parked. The system can record the full surroundings using the 360° camera beneath the smart mirror together with the separate front and rear cameras.
The unit features a 10.66-inch mirror display and cameras with approximately 5 million CMOS pixels. Recording resolution is 1920×1920 at 27.5fps. The front and rear cameras each have approximately 2 million pixels, with recording angles of 100° horizontal and 120° diagonal for the front camera, and 106° horizontal and 124° diagonal for the rear camera.
The package includes various cables for the mirror unit, front camera and rear camera, a GPS antenna and a 32GB microSD card. Initial sales will be conducted at Autobacs stores nationwide.
