Keiyo Engineering has launched the new AN-R138 smart-mirror dashcam with a built-in 360° camera. Pre-launch sales have begun at Autobacs stores nationwide.
The newly launched AN-R138 smart-mirror dashcam from Keiyo Engineering has a built-in 360° camera in its large 10.66-inch mirror, plus separate front and rear cameras, for a total of 3 cameras. While retaining the functions of the previous AN-R106 model, it enhances parking surveillance.
The 360° camera is mounted beneath the smart mirror and can record the vehicle interior and exterior in all directions. It has 1920×1920 resolution (approximately 3.6 million pixels), a 360° horizontal and 226° vertical recording angle, and an F2.2 aperture. The front and rear cameras record at 1920×1080, with WDR on the front camera and HDR night vision correction on the rear camera.
The parking surveillance function detects impacts with a G-sensor when the engine is off and records video after an impact is detected. Designed to provide a rear view as a digital rear-view mirror, the unit includes a GPS antenna and G-sensor and supports DC12V/DC24V power.
The main unit measures approximately 256.2mm (W)×94.5mm (H)×26.3mm (D) and weighs approximately 425g. Included accessories are a 32GB microSD card and an 8.5m rear-camera cable. Stores are offering pre-launch sales at Autobacs locations nationwide.
