Keiyo Engineering will launch the AN-R138, a 10.66-inch smart-mirror dashcam with an all-around 3-camera system, on 15 October. The model features parking surveillance and GPS time correction and can be used as a smart mirror to reduce blind spots.
Keiyo Engineering will launch the new AN-R138 dashcam on 15 October. While retaining the functions of the previous AN-R106 model, it strengthens security by supporting a parking surveillance system. Installation involves mounting the unit over the vehicle’s original rear-view mirror.
The camera configuration consists of a 360° camera built into the bottom of the smart mirror, combined with separate front and rear cameras. The built-in 360° camera uses an approximately 5-million-pixel CMOS sensor, with 1920×1920 recording resolution, a 360° horizontal and 226° vertical recording angle, and an F2.2 aperture. The front camera has approximately 2 million pixels, 1920×1080 recording resolution, a 100° horizontal, 53° vertical and 120° diagonal angle, and an F2.0 aperture, with HDR/WDR support. The rear camera also has approximately 2 million pixels and 1920×1080 recording resolution, with a 106° horizontal, 57° vertical and 124° diagonal angle, an F2.0 aperture, and HDR and night-vision support.
The LCD is a 10.66-inch touchscreen. In addition to smart-mirror mode, users can switch among 6 display modes, including front and rear wide-angle views.
The continuous parking surveillance function monitors for impacts even when the engine is off and records a 30-second file after an impact is detected. An external GPS antenna is included, supporting automatic time correction and driving-route recording. The main unit measures approximately 256.2×94.5×26.3mm and weighs approximately 425g. The front camera measures approximately 55×41.4×36.9mm and weighs approximately 46g, while the rear camera measures approximately 55×41.4×36.9mm.
