The Hyakujushi Bank, Ltd. announced that it would launch an initiative for companies in Kagawa Prefecture to support the creation of workplaces where working parents can thrive. To help realize the government-promoted child-centered society, the bank will assist companies with developing workplace programs and provide consultation support.
The bank was selected for the Child-Centered Leading Bank initiative in July 2026 and will provide support under the framework of a subsidy program. During the support period, it will introduce labor and social security attorneys, assist with program development, and provide advice on obtaining certification.
Specifically, consultations with labor and social security attorneys will be free of charge, with each session lasting up to 2 hours and a maximum of 3 sessions available. Services from the 4th consultation onward and consulting services, including administrative outsourcing and application procedures, will be provided for a fee.
The support period runs through 15 February 2027. As this is a subsidy program of the Children and Families Agency, support may be suspended even during the stated period. Going forward, progress in the development of programs and the acquisition of certifications by eligible companies will be watched.
