Hyakujushi Bank will introduce its own scholarship repayment assistance program from fiscal 2027. Eligible employees will be those who join the bank from April 2027 onward and receive scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization, subject to 7 years of continued employment after joining the bank.
Hyakujushi Bank (headquartered in Takamatsu) has announced plans to introduce its own scholarship repayment assistance program from fiscal 2027, with the aim of securing and retaining personnel by reducing the burden of scholarship repayment. Eligible employees will be those who join the bank from April 2027 onward and receive either a Type 1 scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization, which is interest-free, or a Type 2 scholarship, which bears interest. The program is conditional on 7 years of continued employment after joining the bank.
The assistance will be provided as a lump-sum payment of ¥20,000 multiplied by the number of months for which the scholarship was provided. The bank aims to create an environment in which employees can work for the long term with confidence, thereby contributing to the development of local communities and economic revitalization.
Eligible employees must have joined the bank within 3 years of graduating from a university or other institution and must not be eligible for the “Work in Kagawa! Scholarship Repayment Assistance Program.” The bank aims to strengthen the recruitment and retention of personnel in the region.
