Daihatsu has announced an improved Tanto model and added the Daily Tool special edition. The Urban Tough Style package has also been introduced, with upgrades to the exterior and safety features.
On 31 August, Daihatsu announced a partially improved Tanto model. New features have been added to the current Tanto, Tanto Custom and Tanto FunCross line-up.
The newly introduced Daily Tool special edition is based on the X Turbo and X grades and features auto-folding color-keyed door mirrors and 14-inch alloy wheels, among other equipment. The Daily Tool Style package is also available to give the model a more distinctive appearance.
The dedicated Urban Tough Style accessory package has been introduced for the Tanto FunCross and Tanto FunCross Turbo, further enhancing their outdoor-oriented character. It combines a total of 10 items, including side decals, a back-door garnish and gunmetallic under-garnishes.
The exterior has been refreshed with new colors and a unified color scheme. The new Smooth Gray Mica Metallic color and others have been added to the Tanto and FunCross. On the FunCross, the mirrors and handles have been changed to Black Mica Metallic, and the wheel color has also been unified.
