Fujiya confectionery stores will sell cakes at half price as part of their annual autumn promotion. This year’s featured item is Marron Mont Blanc, made with a mild egg-yolk chestnut paste, with the regular price of ¥537 reduced to ¥268.
Chocolate Fresh Cream Cake (small) will also be half price this year. The cake features cocoa sponge, chocolate cream and chocolate chips, and is priced at ¥268.
Purchases are limited to 4 items per transaction, and reservations are not accepted. The promotion runs from 21 to 23 September and will end when stocks run out due to limited quantities. It will be held at Fujiya confectionery stores nationwide and some Fujiya restaurants, although some stores may not carry the products.
