「Under the medical-fee revision effective June 2026, a new “bundled visiting nursing medical fee” was introduced to optimize frequent visiting-nursing services within the same building for severely ill patients. The reimbursement system shifted from fee-for-service calculation based on “each visit” to a “daily bundled assessment” based on the number of residents in a single building and total visiting time per day. More granular deductions for multiple residents in the same building and reductions based on the number of monthly visits at large facilities were also introduced. We are changing our structure from the previous earnings model based on frequent visits, which creates a risk of lower revenue and profit margins.」
