「In our scenario analysis, we replaced the previous 2°C scenario with a “1.5°C scenario,” a socioeconomic scenario aimed at achieving zero GHG emissions by 2050, and a “4°C scenario,” a current-trend scenario. This reflects our recognition that management strategies must be revised to incorporate growing international demands to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement and more severe climate change risks, including transition and physical risks. We referred to the Sixth Assessment Report and other publications issued by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The time horizons for the analysis were set at 2030 and 2050.」
