- FY2026AdvancedAnnual report
「As part of the effective use of unused resources, we are developing a process to recover precious metals such as gold and silver from geothermal water, while also focusing on recycling critical minerals, for which demand is expected to grow.」
The scope expanded beyond urban mines, LIBs and spent catalysts to include recovery of gold, silver and other metals from geothermal water and recycling of critical minerals. - FY2025First statedAnnual report
「To enable the effective use of “urban mines” (recovering and reusing metal materials from used home appliances, mobile phones and other products) and unused resources, we are developing technologies to recover valuable metals using environmentally friendly adsorbents derived from microorganisms. In the urban mining field, we are working to further recover precious metals from spent automotive catalysts, which contain large amounts of high-value raw materials; developing methods to remove arsenic and other toxic metals from sludge and similar materials previously treated as waste and convert them into valuable products; and developing recycling methods for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), which are expected to face waste-related challenges in the future.」
The Company is developing technologies to recover valuable metals using adsorbents derived from microorganisms, and recycling technologies for spent automotive catalysts, sludge and LIBs, targeting urban mines and unused resources.
