Business overview

As stated in Part I, the Group was spun off from and reorganized out of 株式会社石井製作所. It currently operates primarily in manufacturing, focusing on the manufacture and sale of paper converting machinery, defense equipment and products manufactured under contract. Specifically, its core businesses are paper converting machinery, including corrugated box-making and printing machinery; defense equipment, including mines and electronic equipment for aircraft; and contract manufacturing, under which it manufactures various types of machinery on behalf of other companies. Together with its other businesses, these operations are conducted through a five-company business structure. The Group prepares consolidated financial statements, including intersegment transactions, and sells its products to customers in Japan and overseas. Looking ahead, the Group has adopted a management policy focused on expanding orders, reducing costs and improving quality, as well as returning profits to shareholders through dividends, with the aim of maintaining business stability and achieving sustained growth.
