「ダクタイル鉄管製造プロセスの中でも特にCO2排出量の多い溶解プロセスにおいては、燃料として使用している石炭コークスの代替としてバイオマス原料からなるバイオコークスを導入すると共に、地域のゼロエミッションにも貢献すべく廃棄物を有効活用した新たなバイオ燃料開発を進めております。また、水道管路の更新工事にて発生する使用済み撤去管については、ダクタイル鉄管製造時の鉄源材料として有効にリサイクルすることで、資源循環に貢献する技術開発を進めております。」
