- FY2026AdvancedAnnual report
「The Company undertook a contract for examining PFOS/PFOA countermeasures for drainage channels within a Ministry of Defense base, provided an emergency response to a PFOS leakage incident originating from firefighting foam at a university campus, and conducted demonstration tests to reduce PFAS concentrations in leachate from final disposal sites for industrial waste and raw water at water treatment plants.」
PFAS treatment technology is being put into practical use through contract awards, emergency responses, demonstration tests covering multiple applications and long-term demonstrations with local governments, and has received the 9th Infrastructure Maintenance Award. - FY2026-H1AdvancedAnnual report
「The Company is also strengthening the rollout of technologies to reduce environmental impact, including the embankment quality control system AtlasX and the environmentally considerate technology De-POP’s ION®, which can treat PFAS, a group of organofluorine compounds.」
The Company has disclosed stronger deployment of De-POP’s ION for treating organofluorine compounds such as PFOS and PFOA as a technology to reduce environmental impact. - FY2023RestatedAnnual report
「In addition, the treated water is recycled as a water resource without being discharged or discarded externally, thereby reducing the environmental impact.」
The Company continues to report the removal of PFOS/PFOA, vehicle-mountable treatment equipment and the reduction of environmental impact through recycling treated water as research and development achievements. - FY2023-Q3First statedAnnual report
「On 21 November, the Company issued a press release concerning De-POP’s ION™, a PFOS/PFOA adsorption treatment system using ion-exchange resin that it developed jointly with METAWATER Co.,Ltd. The system consists of a turbidity-removal equipment unit that removes fine sand, debris and other suspended matter from water in ponds and lakes, and an ion-exchange resin tower unit filled with ion-exchange resin dedicated to PFOS/PFOA treatment, enabling PFOS/PFOA to be removed efficiently. Because the entire system can be loaded onto a vehicle, it can be used near ponds and lakes containing PFOS/PFOA. In addition, the treated water is recycled as a water resource without being discharged or discarded externally, thereby reducing the environmental impact.」
A mobile water treatment system for removing PFOS/PFOA was developed jointly with METAWATER, and the reduction of environmental impact through recycling treated water has been presented as a new research and development theme.
